CLONE WARNING

Individuals have been cloning details and imitating GMT Communications Partners LLP, an FCA authorised firm, to suggest they work for GMT Communications Partners LLP.

GMT Communications Partners LLP is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (See: https://register.fca.org.uk/ShPo_FirmDetailsPage?id=001b000000MfbJBAAZ)

GMT Communications Partners LLP is aware that there has been an increase across the United Kingdom financial services industry of fraudsters using the names of legitimate authorised firms, including imitation of literature and branding. In particular, fraudulent groups have been setting up illegitimate accounts on professional online networks and using these accounts to contact individuals and potential investors.

GMT Communications Partners LLP would like to draw your attention to a specific Warning Alert issued on 10 July 2018 by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

You need to be aware that if you invest with a fake unauthorised company, you will lose the protection of the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. If you have received anything that appears to be from GMT Communications Partners LLP which you believe may be fraudulent, or you become aware of a purported GMT Communications Partners product or service that is being used for illicit purposes, then we would very much like to hear from you.
